Soon after, they moved to Nashville so Alan could pursue a country‑music career, with Denise playing an indispensable role in his journey.
Remarkably, it was Denise’s initiative—while working as a flight attendant—that helped launch Alan’s career. She encountered country legend Glen Campbell and introduced him to her husband’s music, which opened the door to his first publishing deal and chart‑success.
Building a family—and surviving storms
Over the years, the couple welcomed three daughters: Mattie (June 1990), Alexandra “Ali” (August 1993), and Dani Grace (August 1997). But the marriage wasn’t always smooth.
